MLS Workgroups | Forming Now – Policies, Providers and Commercial Services

Finally, last but hardly least, in addition to the meetings in February listed above, please reach out to MLS President Dani Giulian and CEO Sandy Carroll if you are interested in serving on a few MLS groups in formation.

  1. Policy Led by MLS President Dani Giulian, this policy update task force is for those that know the rules, follow the rules and have great proofing skills they would like to put to work. This small group will be looking at policy updates to conform with all of the new changes we have been fielding over the past few years, look to find any points that can be clarified or propose changes to the MLS Board.
  2. Providers: Led by MLS VP Cortney Dupont, we are looking for those that love new technology or real estate products. Do you want to know what products and services are out there for Realtors?  When we get requests by a vendor to integrate a service into the MLS system for access by the agents, we need a group to check out the project and create a cost / benefit analysis to see if it’s something that would be worthwhile for the MLS to pursue for our members. This group will meet remotely for demos, have research homework and come together to make recommendations to the MLS Board.
  3. Commercial services and rentals:  Led by MLS Director Mike Hernandez, work remotely with a small group of commercial and rental practitioners to make input field change suggestions, make form requests and look at where these listings can be syndicated for your maximum exposure.
