Massachusetts Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers made changes to the Continuing Education Requirement for Licensure of Brokers and Salespeople that took effect January 1, 2001. The requirement continues to be twelve hours of continuing education credits (CEU) to maintain an active license. There is no exam for CEU courses. The new curriculum consists of thirty three modules. Each of these modules is two hours long. Real estate licensees, who wish to practice, must complete any six of the thirty three modules for a total of twelve (12) hours to renew their real estate license for two years. Materials provided as part of the curriculum should only be used for study purposes and should not be disseminated to the general public. Nothing in this curriculum supersedes any state or federal laws or regulations. For more information on CE Requirements, visit our Continuing Education FAQ page.
