Broker open houses can be scheduled at any time via the MLS Broker Open House scheduler and made available to all members in the MLS. There is no limitation on the time or location of properties open for other broker’s preview.
Should the property be located in a town that is participating in the South County Open House Tour, members wishing to include their property in the scheduled tour must follow these guidelines: (Note: Dana Fuchs from Lance Vermeulen Real Estate is the lead volunteer coordinator. Please reach out to her if there are any issues. She will not be able to change policy or help with posting, but is happy for volunteers, suggestions and communication.
South County Broker Open House Tours: Link to Google Calendar
- Week 1: Great Barrington / Sheffield / Egremont / Alford / Mount Washington
- Week 2: Lee / Lenox / Stockbridge / West Stockbridge/ Richmond
- Week 3: Monterey / New Marlborough / Tyringham / Otis / Becket / Sandisfield
Friday by 3 p.m.:
- Add properties to the Broker Open House in MLS.
- Indicate time of 9am on Tuesday
- Include “SC Tour” at start of title
- Ensure listings are aligned with weekly featured towns (if your listing doesn’t fall into the schedule, it will not be on the caravan).
Monday by 11 a.m.
- Organizer will send listing agent hosts a schedule over the weekend.
- Listing agent must change Broker Open listing in MLS to the timing indicated by the organizer’s schedule
Day of Broker Open House Caravan
- Hosts: Arrive 5–10 minutes early and greet fellow agent
- All Others: Save Tuesday mornings in your calendar. Review tour schedule and participate.
NOTE: Tours are not open to the public, only REALTOR Members of the Berkshire Board.
- On your computer, open Google Calendar.
- On the left, next to “Other calendars,” click Add other calendars
Subscribe to calendar.
- In the “Add calendar” box:
- Enter the person’s email address.
- Select a calendar from the list
- After you request access:
- If the calendar isn’t shared with you: The owner of the calendar gets an email that requests to give you access.
- If the calendar is already shared with you: In your primary calendar, on the left, it shows under “Other calendars.”
