The Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons announced there is an issue affiliating brokers that are not brokers of record with brokerages. Sales licenses seem to be fine, but when you’re trying to affiliate an agent that holds a brokers license, it makes them the broker of record for the firm.

As such, the Board has temporarily suspended the function affiliating brokers with brokerages until they can resolve this issue. There are no technical issues with affiliating salespersons and brokerages should continue to do that through the eLipse system.
