MLS systems across the country are seeing a rise in hacking attempts and outright account takeovers. Scary! Because of this, Berkshire MLS staff will require additional verification before providing login information, password resets, email changes, or other account assistance.

Reminder: Every MLS user must have their own username and password. Shared logins or admins accessing your account can make it appear that an account has been compromised when multiple locations pop up in the same time frame. This can trigger security investigations and put MLS data at risk.

Please help us protect your account and our MLS by:

• Never sharing your MLS username or password
• Ensuring every staff member has their own MLS login
• Enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) whenever possible.(see our other post with a how-to)

A few extra seconds of security today can prevent a major problem tomorrow.
