As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, the Thanksgiving Angels initiative needs our support to provide traditional Thanksgiving meals for less fortunate families across Berkshire County.

Each year, the Thanksgiving Angels distribute uncooked turkeys and all the traditional fixings, allowing families to celebrate the holiday in the comfort of their own homes.

Ways You Can Help

There are two primary ways you can assist this vital community effort:

1. Financial Donations (Matching Opportunity!)

Financial contributions are the most immediate way to help and are greatly appreciated.

• Matching Gift: The Board of Trustees has approved a matching contribution fund totaling $1,000
• Action: Send us a copy of your donation receipt, and we will include it in our matching contribution.

2. Volunteer Service

If you prefer to offer your time and skills, volunteers are needed at different times between November 21st through November 25th.

Volunteer roles include:

• Heavy Lifting Teams:
  • Handling Frozen Turkeys
  • Unloading Food Trucks
  • Loading meals into cars
• Support Roles:
  • Clean Up Crew
  • Traffic Control
  • Spanish-speaking Translators
  • Drivers
