2020 President Eric Steuernagle

Background:

Eric Steuernagle first joined the Berkshire County Board of Realtors in 2007 and was an active volunteer serving the association since that time.  He has a passion for professionalism in our industry and making the market work efficiently for clients represented by Berkshire REALTOR members.  He began taking leadership roles on the Professional Standards and Real Estate Contract and forms Committee in 2014. He joined the Board of Directors in 2015, after he was elected by his peers for two terms as Director, and in 2018 Secretary/Treasurer.  In 2019, he ascended to Vice Presidency and was elected 2020 President at the Annual Meeting. He is active as a Town Monitor for Great Barrington, and is a trained Ombudsman seeking to resolve consumer and Realtor disputes.  Throughout his tenure on the Board of Realtors, he has served in critical capacities such as Finance, Audit and Investment Committee, Personnel, Strategic Planning and Charitable Service.

His primary priority this year is making sure the agents, and especially the broker-owners who are responsible for all agents have the tools and education needed to excel on behalf of their clients.  He is working with the board and volunteers to launch new education and services for Designated REALTORS and has issued a challenge to all REALTOR members to obtain their Commitment To Excellence endorsement from the National Association of REALTORS.  This program allows Realtors to measure their proficiency in the 11 elements of professionalism, known as the C2EX Competencies. Based on the results, the platform will generate customized learning paths, recommend experiences, and provide tools and resources to increase knowledge and enhance skill-sets. … Read on
