Zillow Acquires Dotloop… now what?

As you may have heard by now, the Zillow Group announced their intent to acquire Dotloop, a forms software provider that some brokerages in the Berkshire MLS use. There is a lot of speculation about this buyout, with both short term questions about continued service and long term questions about data security and use of protected client data.  MAny are speculating on  the industry impact of Zillow’s new direction to be an integral part of the transaction.  We have been provided with an invitation for any Berkshire MLS member that is curious about this venture to attend an online “Town Hall” style Q&A session with Austin Allison, CEO of dotloop and Errol Samuelson, Chief Industry Development Officer of Zillow Group. They’re anxious to get your questions, which can be submitted prior to the session at community@dotloop.com. Even if you’re unable to attend the event, be sure to register so that they can send you a recording following the webinar.  REGISTER HERE.
