It’s that time again to take 2 minutes to quickly double check your listing inventory and make sure that all sales, pendings and off-market listings are recorded properly.  It is especially important to ensure the properties are correctly displayed for the year-end Market Watch report.  Countywide, we have recorded $771 million dollars in sales, up 55% from last year.  The number of sales topped 2,273, up 20%.  Below is a breakdown of the stats we have right now.  Obviously, very little inventory and fast paced sales.  Thanks so much for making sure your listings are accurate so that we can get a good understanding of the pandemic market.

Residential: Strong Gains over 2019, inventory plummets 50% over last year. 387 homes on the market at the end of December compared to 768 last year.

Multi-Family: Sales slow in central Berkshire, surge in south county, mixed in north. Inventory drops 14% to 94 units on the market at the end of December.

Land: Sales Jump in all parts of the Berkshires, inventory falls 25% to 444 parcels on the market at the end of December

Condo: Reporting slight overall gains in the number of sales but jumps in dollar volume and median prices. Inventory down 53% from last year with only 69 units for sale countryside at the end of December,
