We are proud to announce that Nicholas Geranios of William Pitt Sotheby’s Realty in Lenox has been named 2023 Berkshire REALTOR of the Year!
The REALTOR of the Year award is given to a REALTOR® that best exemplifies professionalism and service to the industry. The recipient is someone who has contributed outstanding time and energy to the betterment of the REALTOR® organization, the real estate industry and our Berkshire community. The award criteria upon which nominees are judged include service to the REALTOR® organization on the local, state and national levels as well as service to the community.
While Nick has been an active volunteer member for many years, we only look at 14 months of service to the association when granting this stellar award. In addition to manning the registration desk at all local association meetings and events held throughout the year, Nick has moved up the ranks of leadership service on the Board of Directors of the Berkshire County Board of REALTORS first as a Director, then Secretary/Treasurer and currently as President Elect. He is an active volunteer on the REALTOR Community Service Committee, trained member of the Professional Standards Committee, and serves on the Finance and Investment Committee, Personnel Committee, and the Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee. He can be found wearing his REALTOR apparel and promoting our association in many community events, including tossing cornhole bags or slinging drinks for charity, walking in the Pittsfield parade and out at community events making our association shine. Nick epitomizes the REALTOR with spirit!
He earned the President’s Award for completing the Fairhaven Fair Housing Training Challenge and contributing his fair share to the Massachusetts Real Estate Community Alliance Fund.
Nick has taken his leadership role very seriously and attended significant advanced training to prepare her for service, including Massachusetts Association of REALTORS leadership training in Foxborough, MA, flying to national meetings throughout the US and attending leadership training with the Board’s CEO at the National Association of REALTORS headquarters in Chicago.
Nick is the first to help setup at events and last to leave for cleanup, this volunteer goes above and beyond average committee service. He embodies the term REALTOR® and goes above in beyond to help his board and his colleagues.
