Meals for Good 2024

On Saturday, April 20th, from 10am – 1pm, Berkshire Bounty is partnering with Berkshire United Way in a Meal Packaging Event. The goal is to pack 40,000 servings of ready to eat meals in 3 hours! These meals will then be distributed to food-insecure families in the Berkshires.

Berkshire Bounty is creating a “team” to help in the effort, with the goal of packing the most servings! There are two shifts—one from 10 – 11:30 am and one from 11:30 to 1pm.  This event will be held at the Boys and Girls Club of the Berkshires, 16 Melville Street in Pittsfield.

Volunteers will work in a fun assembly-line to Pasta, Rice and Oatmeal. If you have never joined Berkshire Bounty for this event you don’t know what you are missing. No heavy lifting is required for meal packaging.

If you are interested, email Sara Haimowitz at sara@berkshirebounty.org. Let her know which shift you want, and she will add you to the Berkshire Bounty team.
