Hinsdale Food Pantry is in Dire Need

Deb Litchfield Pratt and her staff are serving families weekly to families in Hinsdale, Peru, Washington, Middlefield, and Worthington. But due to the unprecendendant times they find the need to keep the shelves stocked is great.

A group of local businesses — Realty Street, Jamie Pollard – Academy Mortgage, and Michael J. Shepard Law has joined together to match any donations up to $1500 received by Friday, Dec. 18.

Checks can be made payable to the “First Congregational Church of Hinsdale” with “Hinsdale Food Pantry” written in the MEMO and sent to Realty Street, 484 W. Housatonic Street, Dalton MA 01226 or dropped in the lockbox at the same location. If you’d rather you can Venmo Mark-McIlquham with Hinsdale Food Pantry in the Notes.

In-kind donations can also be dropped off at the Hinsdale Trading Post during business hours. The shelter is in great need of cleaning supplies, toiletries, paper products, diapers, etc. as well as nonperishable food items.

If you have any questions please feel free to email mark@realtystreet.com.

Thank you in advance,

Mark, Sherry, Jamie, and Michael

While the Board cannot donate to all causes close to the hearts of our members, we welcome the opportunity to share charitable giving information in our REcap.  If you have an opportunity to share, please contact the staff.
