More about our benefit fund:  Neighbor -to- Neighbor is administered by the Taconic Foundation, a non-profit organization that administers over 99 grants and scholarships in Berkshire County.  The BTCF granted more than $5.1 million in 2020 to make life in Berkshire County even better. For this fund, grant funds are written directly to the provider, not the recipient and is not intended for long-term or ongoing assistance. Knowing how high fuel, electric, food costs are rising, we thought it was important to help provide a safety net to those who might not have qualified for other governmental assistance. In speaking to some of the local non-profits, we discovered this is a tool they used to address urgent need to help achieve a measure of stability and avert further crises.
