Are you one of those people that likes to get into the weeds about weeds?! Have we got a document for you!  The MassDEP’s Wetlands Program just issued updated guidance documents (Effective Immediately) on the Delineation of Bordering Vegetated Wetlands.   They also updated Massachusetts Inland Wetland Replacement Guidelines.  While this won’t change what a REALTOR should know about the intricacies of our wetland regulations, our government affairs committee did think this warranted a fantastic reminder that all REALTORS should connect buyers directly with the ConCom in each community to help eliminate issues down the road. We have also been asked to host another Wetlands program with Pittsfield Conservation Commission Agent Rob Van Der Kar. More information and training will follow later this year.
