There are still volunteer opportunities open. We have not called the meeting for the following groups, so if you signed up already, consider yourself IN! Feel free to register again, just in case. Note: Affiliates are invited to serve!
Staff is working on alternative learning methods – and we’re looking for knowledgeable, creative volunteers to help us on a Pop Quiz Task Force. There will be just a couple of meetings, and should be fun and rewarding to develop some alternative learning quizzes for the Friday REcap.
The Affiliate Recruitment and Retention Workgroup Chaired by Peter West, is looking for more volunteers. That group will recommend benefits for Affiliate membership and develop a plan to expand our affiliates to other housing professionals like inspectors, contractors, plumbers, etc.
The first meeting of the Government Affairs and Town Monitors is scheduled for April 1st (no joke). All 2019 volunteers will be personally invited, and new volunteers are welcome! We also invite our active Town Monitors to help on local issues, promote affordable housing zoning and smart housing policies and always look for help there. You can RSVP for the first meeting in the form below to see if it’s a good fit for you!
The Realtor Community Service volunteers met once and brainstormed new policies and lots of new charitable fundraising ideas. We are having a follow up meeting to actually pick those we will pursue this year. March 9th @ 9:30 a.m. All are welcome – please note that even if you don’t attend this group, expect to be tapped to help with one of the many fundraisers!
A brand new Consumer Awareness Campaign committee will be launching soon, chaired by Jason Nocher, Chair. They will reexamine our public outreach efforts and work to implement the NAR #ThatsWhoWeR and new branding in public messaging on the value of a Realtor and also pointing out how to know you’re working with a professional.
