This is a friendly reminder that when you are responding to, or forwarding an email, you should review the context in the ‘thread’ to ensure that no confidential information is being included mistakenly. While this post is prompted by a Flexmls reverse prospecting email in which the seller’s agent responded to a buyers agent email that then included their client’s information, this can occur with any email program.
We’re all busy and rushing, but please take a moment to review your correspondence and remove any information that you don’t intend on passing along, before hitting that send button! The moment to review the thread and who is included in your response is so worth a saved fiasco/snafu/headache down the road!!
