You may be wondering about a notice received from MAR sharing how the National Association of REALTORS® has discontinued their sponsorship of zipLogix effective December 31, 2021. We were just working through options and details on all forms options for you in 2022, and this announcement of MAR’s is great news! While Ziplogix will no longer be free, MAR has approved a new member benefit that will provide an electronic transaction management system called Remine Docs+ at no cost to Massachusetts REALTORS. Your Berkshire Board has been in communication with Ziplogix, Remine and MAR in-depth about the options going forward. It is our goal to ensure you have the ability to use whatever forms provider that works best for your business, and that is why we license our forms to many vendors… but this new member benefit is exciting, as it combines great technology with better MLS data integration and brokerage level services.
Your Board of Directors will be discussing details / decisions next week but are committed to making sure you have plenty of education and access to the new free forms platform, and will continuing to license our forms for use by our members in other programs. We have spoken with both the developers at Remine and MAR and all are working on getting historical data transferred over from Ziplogix. We also have a quick link to a simple way for you to download electronic versions of your Ziplogix transactions if that’s a preferred method as well. Finally, we have reached out to Ziplogix to determine individual or brokerage costs if you opt to continue with them past the expiration of the member benefit. We will keep you posted! You can expect training on proper document storage, transferring data if desired and then lots of training working in this new forms platform. You will have 3 months to work in the system before the end of the year so that you can be comfortable, trained and ensure your files have been transferred as expected… or you can have time to find another provider if it doesn’t meet your needs 😉
We are fortunate that we have our own MLS and will be part of the team deploying this new software statewide.
