Did you see it? Recently, a change was made to the sold reporting function in the MLS. We’ve added the ability to include a co-selling agent! As with the co-listing agent, this field is intended to give credit to both agents when a team, or more than one agent in a brokerage, brought the buyer to the transaction.
We’ve seen the co-selling member field used incorrectly over the past few weeks. Hint: The listing agent’s name does not get entered here. The listing agent (and co-listing agent) receive credit in the MLS for their role in the transaction because their names are entered during the listing input. The listing agent should not be entered again in the co-selling member field.
If you have any questions about the proper use of this new field, please contact staff by email or phone: 413-442-8049, and we’d be happy to walk you through the process. Thank you!
