Your Berkshire REALTORS Leadership delegation joined nearly 20,000 REALTORS at the 2016 Conference & Expo in Orlando last week. The conference gave us the opportunity to learn from amazing panelists and speakers.  In addition to an agenda filled with critical governance meetings, (full report here) we also had a chance to hear:

Retired General Colin Powell shared his hope for the county in the coming year; Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist shared the latest outlook for residential and commercial markets; Dennis Lockhart, CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and Jonathan Smoke, chief economist at realtor.com both gave an economic update.  Other and industry leaders shared their challenges and opportunities in the coming year…  They included Jim Parrott, former economic adviser to President Obama and senior fellow at the Urban Institute; Brian Montgomery, former FHA Commissioner/Collingwood Group; Howard Fineman, global editorial director at Huffington Post; Alex Perriello, CEO of Realogy; and senior staff from the FAA and National Flood Insurance Program.  Read our full report for more information on all topics.
