Congratulations to Pam Roberts, 2021 REALTOR of the Year! Pam is the broker owner of Roberts Associates Realty, Inc located in Lenox, has been a member of the Berkshire Board for more than 35 years, served as the MLS President in 2020 and 2021 and will serve as its past president in 2022, as well as serving in numerous leadership roles and on multiple committees for the Berkshires over the years. Pam embodies the qualities of a professional REALTOR and called a mentor and inspiration by many. While this award is based on the past 18 months of service, Pam is a consummate contributor and volunteer in the real estate industry. This is the second time, a very rare occurrence, that she was awarded the REALTOR of the Year for Berkshire County, having received this honor in 2000 as well.
She has served in many volunteer capacities at the Berkshire County Board of Realtors including past chair of the Government Affairs Committee, Past President of the Multiple Listing Service and the Realtor Professional Standards Committee. For the REALTOR Association, Pam currently serves on the Board of REALTORS Board of Directors, Finance / Investment Committee, Personnel Committee, Contract & Forms Committee, Website Audit Committee, Professional Standards Committee, Realtor Community Service Committee, Showing Service Task Force, Data Input Taskforce and Remine Beta Testing Taskforce. She is a Ombudsman (mediator) and a major RPAC investor and major REALTOR Relief Fund and Community Service Contributor. She serves ont he state association in various roles and attends conferences and events throughout the country honing her leadership and industry skills.
Pam holds an MBA from UMass Amherst, is a graduate of the Berkshire Leadership Program, served on its steering committee and has earned several advanced real estate designations. These include: CBR (certified buyer’s representative), CIPS (certified International Specialist), CRB (certified real estate brokerage manager), CRS (certified residential specialist), GRI (graduate of the real estate institute), SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist)
Pam is active in many community organizations. She serves as a Trustee at Berkshire Community College and serves on the college’s Foundation Board. She is past president and active member of the Zonta Club of Berkshire County and serves on the Board of Berkshire Financial Services. She was a longtime member of the town’s Finance Committee and a member of the Advisory Board of the Berkshire Sanctuaries of MA Audubon.
She is the parent of two grown sons. She enjoys gardening, birdwatching, hiking the Berkshires and beyond and spending time with her five grandchildren and her two Boykins. An accomplished athlete, she has been a competitive distance runner for over three decades, completing 24 marathons and continuing to organize the Annual Turkey Trot Road Races in Gt.
