We are once again supporting our local community by partnering with Barrington Stage for an evening at the theatre. In this, we ensure 10 volunteers will be on hand (2 scanners, 6 ushers, 1 gift shop attendant, and 1 in will call/box office) for the performance, and in exchange, our Berkshire County Board of REALTORS is mentioned at the beginning of the show and all volunteers are offered a free seat for the performance. Given that Sandy Carroll is coordinating volunteers for two organizations, we are offering two dates for volunteers to join us for this opportunity, although the actual REALTOR night when we will be mentioned is Friday September 30th. Please RSVP to Sandy to volunteer and reserve your free seat as soon as possible!
Saturday, August 20, 8:00 PM showtime, 7:00 PM arrival of volunteers for training.
- Zonta Night: A Little Night Music – A tangle of love affairs leads to a magical weekend in the country where confusion rules, jealousies flair and sexual passions reign. Join us for Stephen Sondheim’s witty, brilliant masterpiece that won 6 Tony Awards and features the classic “Send in the Clowns.”
Friday, September 30, 8:00 PM showtime, 7:00 PM arrival of volunteers for training.
- REALTOR Night (alternates): All of Me – Boy meets girl. Boy uses wheelchair, girl uses wheelchair. Boy and girl use text-to-speech to connect to each other and the world around them. Love is holding them together even when the people in their lives want to pull them apart. It’s a romantic coming-of-age story that hasn’t been seen before. All of Me is a hilarious and candid portrayal of disability and class in present-day America.
