The Great Barrington Food Pantry is looking for donations of Turkey Coupons and/or Gold Coins. The donations can be dropped off at Barnbrook Realty in G.B. or to any agent. They are asking for them to be in by Thursday November 10th, so they may be distributed. Thank you!!

Thank you to all who donated toward the Thanksgiving Angels at the Annual Meeting in October.  Together, we raised $151 toward the purchase of food for the less fortunate of Berkshire County.  Thanksgiving Angels is a consortium of food pantries throughout the County who will be delivering meals again this year.  If you are interested in making a monetary donation for the purchase of food, please contact South Congregational Church at 413-442-7357.

Volunteers for Thanksgiving Baking Angels have started baking to provide sweet breads to be delivered with the Thanksgiving Angel meals.  This year, the goal is 2000 breads!  Are you a baker and can help? They’re asking for pumpkin, banana and/or zucchini breads in sizes 8×4 or 9×5.  Drop off is at South Congregational Church, 110 South Street on November 20th between 1-4 p.m.  If you are able to make a donation, please contact Lisa on their Facebook event page, to let her know how many you’ll be bringing.  Breads should be wrapped in foil or donated in aluminum foil pans, and labeled.  Please include if the bread contains nuts.
