Hearty congratulations go out to Paul Harsch, broker-owner of Harsch Real Estate, on his appointment to the Vermont Real Estate Commission. Governor Phillip B. Scott appointed Harsch to sit on the seven member Vermont Real Estate Commission effective February 5, 2019. The appointment is for an initial five year term with an option to continue for a second five year term at the discretion of the governor.
The official description of the duties and mission of the Vermont Real Estate Commission are as follows:
“The Real Estate Commission is a seven-member board created by the legislature whose members are appointed by the governor to administer the laws for this profession in the state of Vermont. The board’s mission is public protection. The board does this by: ensuring that applicants are qualified for licensure; setting standards for the profession by proposing statutes and adopting administrative rules; and, with the assistance of Office of Professional Regulation staff, investigating complaint of unprofessional conduct, taking disciplinary action against licensees when necessary to protect the public.”
Please feel free to drop Paul an email to congratulate him on this professional achievement!
