At the last meeting, the MLS Board voted to remove the marketing name field from the listing sheet and online display … and the staff has now implemented that change. When it was first adopted, it was meant as a way to use a name that was not as formal as a license name, such as using nicknames or common names. for example: Sandra “Sandy” Carroll rather than “Most Amazing Lady” (despite how true haha). Unfortunately, we discovered some marketing names didn’t adequately identify the licensed real estate agent, so we have reverted back to using only the traditional first and last name fields for identification. Don’t worry, you’re still amazing to us!
