Beverly Adams, a true pioneer for women in real estate in Berkshire County, passed away on May 16th at the age of 88. She owned and operated Beverly Adams Realty, first opening in 1966. Beverly joined the Berkshire County Board of REALTORS in 1973 and became President of the Board in 1978. The following year she was named Berkshire County REALTOR of the Year. Beverly was the founding MLS President in 1985, the year the Multiple Listing Service was incorporated. She joined Century 21 A. Perras Realty in 1994 and continued there as a broker associate until her retirement in 2003.
Calling hours will be held at the Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield on May 21st from 9:00-11:00 a.m.
