One of the member benefits that we’re so happy to provide to our Berkshire County Realtors is the opportunity to attend continuing education courses at no cost. But, is that free education really free? Well actually, no. Each program requires an instructor fee, printing costs, room rental fees, food and beverage costs, etc. which the Board assumes, and is glad to pay for those who attend our programs. When counts are called in we are locked into paying costs for that number of people, whether they attend or not. Typically, we need to close registration because we can not accommodate more than have been called into the facility we are frequenting. No-shows prohibit others from being able to attend a program who could have otherwise gone.
As a gentle reminder about cancellations and/or no-shows, please read our following cancellation policy:
A cancellation must be in writing and received seven (7) days prior to course date in order to receive a full refund or a credit on account for future use. A cancellation in writing and received two (2) days prior to course date will receive a credit on account for future use. Cancellations within two days of program and no-shows forfeit all funds or will be charged as applicable. Registrations paid in cash or check will be refunded by check, registrations paid via credit card will be refunded via credit card credit. A $20 fee will be charged for checks returned for insufficient funds.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration.
