We’ve noticed that adding a Coming Soon to the MLS was not necessarily intuitive.  To assist, we have added some help text next to the applicable fields as reminders of what the system is requiring for your Coming Soon to be displayed correctly.  Below is a step-by-step for the significant data entry fields.  All other input is the same as a typical listing.

On the Main Fields tab, find the STATUS field:

Use the drop down and change the status to COMING SOON

When this selection has been made a new field not normally seen will appear:

This Start Showing Date is the date that the listing will be available for showings and is the date your listing will ‘come’ on the market.  It must match the Exclusive Right to Sell, Coming Soon Addendum and is between 1 day and 7 days from seller’s signature.

List Date is STILL the date the seller has signed your Exclusive Right to Sell contract.
