Below is a short list of items that I wish to remind you ALL of regarding submitting your listing paperwork to the Board Office!
PAUSE, take a couple extra seconds to look over your contracts before you push the send button!
*On contracts, fill in all fields as completely as possible. BE LEGIBLE!
*Do not forget to date all signatures, both broker and seller(s)!
*When entering listings, your start and end dates MUST match the start and end dates on your contracts (even if you are entering them later than the start date on your contract shows).
*All changes must be initialed and dated by the seller(s).
*No matter when your listing is supposed to begin, you MUST send us a copy of your contract within 2 business days of the last SELLER’s signature. (This includes extensions with new MLS#, delayed dissemination, and any contract that begins later than your seller(s) signature.)
*When a listing is extended in the system with a NEW MLS#, you must send us a signed and dated copy of the Modification of the Exclusive Right to Sell Contract within two business days. (Extensions using the Modification Contract must keep the original start date from your original contract upon entering them into the MLS.)
*If for some reason your sending the completed contract from your seller(s) to us is held up by the seller, include a copy of the postmarked envelope, email, or fax transmission with your copy of the contract when you send it to us. This will avoid fines.
