In the last few weeks, we’ve seen a marked increase in contact information entered into publicly displayed fields within the MLS. Please remember, submission policies dictate that you cannot include Firm Name, Agent Name or contact information is the photos, public remarks or directions on a listing. This defeats the purpose of printing a public copy of a listing sheet when working with buyers.
This is a self-policing policy, so if you see a listing that includes contact information in any of the publicly displayed fields, please contact Linda. We will remove the comment and place it in the REALTOR-to-REALTOR remark field and notify the listing agent and broker of the policy.
