The MassDEP is offering some private well owners an opportunity to receive free testing for PFAS (polyfluoroalkyl) compounds in drinking water.  These free tests are available for home located in communities where 60% or more of the residences use private wells….Alford, Becket, Middlefield, Monterey, Mount Washington, New Marlborough, Peru, Richmond, Otis, Sandisfield and Washington to name a few.
