Education Policies & Procedures

Reservations are only accepted with payment. To be eligible for member discounted prices, you must have paid current year dues to the Berkshire County Board of REALTORS®. Those holding MLS-only membership are not eligible, as these are programs hosted by the REALTOR association. If you are a provisional member and have paid all application and pro-rated dues, you are eligible to receive the member pricing. Member discounts are not retroactive.
If you have a special need, please notify the Association Office at time of registration.
Attendee Cancellation & No-Show Policy
A cancellation must be in writing and received three (3) days prior to course date in order to receive a full refund or a credit on account for future use. A cancellation received in writing two (2) days prior to course date will receive a credit on account for future use. Cancellations within two days of program and no-shows forfeit all funds. Registrations paid in cash or check will be refunded by check, registrations paid via credit card will be refunded via credit card credit. A $20 fee will be charged for checks returned for insufficient funds. Cancellations within two days of program or students that fail to show will forfeit all funds.
Board Cancellation / Inclement Weather Policy
We reserve the right to cancel any course, if deemed necessary. In the event of a rare cancellation, every effort will be made to contact those who have registered. If classes are canceled due to inclement weather, there will be a notice on the Board Office voicemail system at least 1 ½ hours prior to start time of the class (even if the Board Office is not yet open). We suggest you please call the office 413-442-8049 for cancellation information. Classes cancelled due to inclement weather or illness of instructor will be rescheduled.
Attendance & Certificate of Completion
The Massachusetts Board of Registration requires we keep attendance so PLEASE BE PROMPT! No one will be allowed into the session after the instructor starts. Refunds will not be given to those students who show up late. You will receive a certificate, signed by the instructor for each session you attend. A certificate will not be signed nor submitted if you leave early.
General Information
Massachusetts Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers requires twelve hours of continuing education credits (CEU) to maintain an active license. There is no exam for CEU courses. The new curriculum consists of many 2 hour modules. RMaterials provided as part of the curriculum should only be used for study purposes and should not be disseminated to the general public.
