A member recently asked us to find out about the percentage of listings that end up expired. What we found, we would like to share with you!

Of the 2689 residential listings entered into the MLS in 2013, we find that as of September 2014, a little over 39% have closed and about 1% are currently pending. Almost 11% are still active in the MLS. 36.3% of the listings entered in 2013 have since expired; this does not mean, however, that they were not since re-listed either by the same agent or by another brokerage.
