REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time within four-year cycles. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®. The Code of Ethics current four-year cycle will end Dec. 31, 2016. (The requirement could change after 2016; however, you must still complete your Code of Ethics Requirement if you haven’t done so already by December 31st, 2016.)
Below are a few ways in which you can fulfill your requirement:
- You can take the training online at any time at Existing member training resources.
- On 6/1/15 and 9/21/15 we will offer live webinars of the Real Estate Brokerage Professional Ethics program with Jody O’Brien that satisfy both the 4 year requirement AND give 2 CE credits. Learn more at http://www.BerkshireRealtors.net/events/
- On 3/11/15 and 11/18/15 we will offer a live program in Pittsfield at our Board Office that will satisfy both the 4 year requirement AND give 2 CE credits. Learn more at http://www.BerkshireRealtors.net/events/
