According to the National Association of REALTORS 2017 Home Buyer and Seller Generational Trend Report, Millennials made up 34% of home buyers in 2016. Did you also know, Millennials are also shaping the future of energy? When the two mesh…are you aware of what your Millennial and otherwise environmentally conscientious buyers want? Make sure you’re in the know – don’t miss these two classes!
On April 13th, instructor Craig Foley will be in the Berkshires to present Smart Growth / Smart Energy and High Performance Green Homes in Residential Real Estate. These back-to-back classes provide 4 hours of continuing education credit. Free to Berkshire County Board of REALTORS members.
Craig is the chief of energy solutions for RE/MAX Leading Edge, and founder of Sustainable Real Estate Consulting Services and a leading advocate for high-performance buildings in the Northeast. His inspiring bio can be found here. Margot Moomaw will be a guest speaker with info every REALTOR should know about net-zero energy homes. She and her husband William, a Nobel prize-winning environmental scientist, are among some two-dozen other homeowners nationwide whose homes are being monitored by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory as part of a study to help develop net-zero energy homes.
