All are invited to a zoom where our community service group will … regroup! Monday, September 27, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. We work on giving in 5 ways – CARES (see below). We are happy to announce we just secured a $1,500 Community grant for Construct Inc. from MAR to help with housing in Southern Berkshire. The Board of Directors voted to donate up to $5,000 (matching REALTOR donations) for the REALTOR Relief Foundation to Aid those experiencing the effects of national disasters. We have $1,300 left to go to hit our $5,000 goal! Our wine tasting fundraising REALTOR Event was a success with a $3,500 profit … but our plans for a music bingo fundraiser is no longer happening due to heightened COVID issues. We have offered a BCC business student an Educational scholarship of $1,000 as usual and we haven’t really jumped into Service events yet this year. In fact, we also want to help decide if the Breaking Bread dinner in South County can keep going, with new teams of volunteers.
