A new feature in our REcap this year is a weekly spotlight of our elected leaders. We want you to get to know the volunteers who have devoted their time and talents to serve our industry and our members. Next up, is Board President-Elect, Nicholas “Nick” Geranios. Nick has been in the industry for over 36 years in sales and mortgage banking and is currently an associate at the William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty office in Lenox. He moved up the ranks leadership beginning as an elected Director in 2018 and then serving as a Treasurer with distinction in 2021-2022, always carefully studying and explaining the budget each month. He has served in numerous positions, but is best known for winning the REALTOR Spirit Award in 2022 for his efforts to support every Board / committee endeavor. Nick is the first to help setup at events and the last to leave for cleanup, he goes above and beyond average committee service. He serves on the Finance and Investment Committee, Professional Standards Committee and can be found at all Realtor Community Service events, tossing cornhole bags for charity, walking under our name in the Pittsfield parade and out at community events making our association shine.
Nick holds a degree from Babson College, Wellesley, MA and grew up in Berkshire County. A proud Greek who works tirelessly on the Saint George Greek Fest, he is comfortable in all kitchens from helping family members in their restaurant endeavors. His dad was the legendary Archie, “hey buddy” owner of the South Street Pizza House for 40 years.
