The REACT Committee is looking for your input on projects, fund beneficiaries, and support – which comes in many forms. Please take a moment to review the following and share your comments, questions, and suggestions with us.
The committee participates in charitable events that have been in place for several years. We’re interested in knowing if you feel we should continue to place efforts in these events, if you have other suggestions, and ask that you share with us your preferred charitable organization. We have a quick survey that will only take a moment to complete, and implore you to take that moment so we can focus our efforts in 2018.
The committee’s goal is to support housing-related charitable organizations in Berkshire County while promoting REALTOR involvement and goodwill. We understand that not everyone can commit to all projects throughout the year, and do not expect that anyone on the committee will be able to do so. We welcome your participation when the timing is right, or the event / charity holds a special place in your heart. The committee tries to spread support around the County, and one successful way to do so is by participating in one-and-done opportunities. This is a commitment to provide a service that takes one day, one hour, one… anything. For example: If a shelter needs to have a room painted, REACT will gather together individuals who arrive prepared to complete that task in one day. Win-Win. We also understand that not everyone can perform a physical task, or commit to even one day away from their already extremely full schedules. If you prefer, the committee is happy to accept a monetary donation to support the events we participate in.
If you’d like to come and learn what REACT is all about, our next meeting will be held on March 8th at 10:00 a.m. in the Board Office Conference Room. We meet once per month, and those meetings are posted on our Calendar of Events. Meetings are open to REALTOR and Affiliate members alike.
