Sandy Carroll, RCE, Epro, Berkshire County Board of REALTORSSandra Carroll

Sandy Carroll is the Chief Executive Officer of the Board of REALTORS® and the Multiple Listing Service and has been with the organization since 1995. Since joining the association, she has served in many capacities on the local, state and national level. Sandy was chosen as a speaker for the joint US / Canada Association Executives Institute in Vancouver, where she spoke on the topic ‘How to Survive and Thrive’ before her peers in North America. At the state level, she served on the Agency Implementation Committees, Technology Committee, Issues Grass-roots Work Group, Electronic Forms Workgroup, Professional Standards Committee and was the Association Executive Liaison serving on the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® Executive Committee in 2003. She has earned her RCE (Realtor® Certified Executive) Designation, ePro Management (Internet Professional Designation), ITI (Instructors Training Institute Designation) and is certified Professional Standards Administrator.


Kimberly Allard-Moccia

Kim has an extensive background in the service industry and has been a leader in the Real Estate Community for over 15 years. She is an Kim Allard Mocciaengaging and dynamic speaker on a number of topics but speaking on technology and social media is her passion. Kim enjoys staying on the ‘cutting edge’ in the tech space.

Kim has served in many capacities for her local association, the Plymouth & South Shore Association of REALTORS, as well as the Massachusetts and National Association of REALTORS. Most notably, she served as the President of the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS in 2013. Kim was named “REALTOR® of the Year” for both PASS and MAR in 2010. She was the 2006 President of the Plymouth & South Shore Association of REALTORS and served as chairperson of their Technology Committee from 2001-2003.


Jeff Chalmers

Focused on inspiring, Jeff is a born Ambassador and gifted teacher. He is VP of Mortgage Lending for Guaranteed Rate, as well as the 2015 Regional Director of Communications and Technology for the Women’s Council of Realtors. Andrew Consoli, ABC Training

Andrew Consoli shares the vast knowledge he has acquired as a licensed contractor, heating system technician, state approved termite inspector, licensed real estate sales person, licensed air conditioning refrigerant and recovery technician, DEP septic inspector, 203K FHA / HUD certified consultant, and licensed state instructor. His seminars will entertain, educate and help you better understand the complexities of construction, mechanical systems, environmental issues, liability, disclosure and more.


Bob Falter, Ph.D., GRI

Bob Falter, Ph.D. is a licensed Massachusetts real estate broker and a certified Massachusetts real estate instructor. In addition, he is a Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) Dean and Instructor, and a National Association of REALTORS® Real Estate Buyer’s Agent Council (REBAC) certified instructor. He is also a Regional Trainer for the Realtors Property Resource™, LLC.

Bob Falter - Realtor-Broker-Seated

Locally he teaches for the Worcester Regional Association of REALTORS® (WRAR), the North Central Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® (NCMAR),Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB), Berkshire County Board of REALTORS® (BCBR), REALTOR® Association of Pioneer Valley (RAPV), Lexicon Real Estate Academy, Triad Real Estate School, American Real Estate Academy (AERA), and the ERA Key Realty University.  He has been honored by the Worcester Regional Association of REALTORS® with their “2006 Rookie of the Year” Award and “2010 Educator of the Year” Award.  In 2011 he was nominated for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® “Educator of the Year” Award.

He holds both national and state designations including Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), At Home with Diversity (AHWD) certified, certified Internet Professional (e-PRO), Loss Mitigation Certification (LMC), Short Sale Foreclosure Certification (SFR), and Broker Price Opinion Resource Certification (BPOR).  Bob is affiliated with ERA Key Realty Services in Worcester, MA as a Broker Associate.


Craig Foley

Craig Foley is the chief of energy solutions for RE/MAX Leading Edge, and a co-founder of inCharge Energy. Craig joined the RE/MAX Leading Edge team in January of 2012 as a REALTOR with 14 years of experience, and as a leading advocate for high-performance buildings in New Craig FoleyEngland. Craig is the architect of RE/MAX Leading Edge’s (a top five residential real estate company in MA) successful green brand and strategy.

Craig’s combination of real estate and energy management skills give him a unique perspective about sustainable energy solutions. He is the author of the first reports on high-performance home market in Massachusetts in 2012 and 2013. He was named by RE/MAX New England as the “REALTOR of the Month” for March 2013. He established an initiative between RE/MAX Leading Edge and the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources to create a course for real estate agents to support green market transformation called High-Performance, Green Homes in Residential Real Estate. It was approved as a continuing education course for Massachusetts real estate agents as RE86R14 in July, 2014. Craig is also a public speaker and has been engaged by organizations such as the nationally syndicated “Real Estate Today” Radio, Northeast Energy Efficiency Summit ’14, Boston Area Solar Energy Association, the U.S. Green Building Council, ISO New England, Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NESEA), TEDxSomerville, and the National Association of REALTORS (NAR). He is also a Massachusetts certified real estate instructor.

Craig serves as the Advocacy Coordinator for the MA Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council, for his work in 2013 the MA Chapter awarded him its “Advocacy Volunteer of the Year”. He served as a participant writer of the MLS Green Implementation Guide, an NAR supported document for implementation of green data fields for the 900 Multiple Listing Services (MLS) throughout the United States. He advocates on behalf of residential and commercial rate-payers with the Consumer Liaison Group of ISO New England, the non-profit market monitor of the region’s electricity grid.

Craig was one of five people in the United States to receive the EverGreen Award by the NAR Green REsource Council in 2013 for his advocacy of the green real estate industry in 2013. He also serves as an Advisory Board member of the Green REsource Council.


Nobu Hata, Director of Digital Engagement for NAR

Nobu HataA former Minnesota REALTOR, educator and association volunteer leader, Nobu Hata is now the Director of Digital Engagement for the National Association of REALTORS.  A real estate sales, technology and new media expert, his mission is to bring value added information to NAR members, brokers and associations – online and off – and their insight back to NAR.


Elaine Hoff, RE/MAX Encoreehoff

Elaine Hoff, of Wilmington, a state-certified real estate training instructor and broker with RE/MAX Encore in Wilmington, has been named the recipient of the 2005 Massachusetts Real Estate Educator of the Year award. The MA Real Estate Educator of the Year award recognizes REALTORS® for their voluntary contributions and participation in activities that promote the professional development and career advancement of fellow real estate practitioners. Elaine has earned several REALTOR® designations including the CRS, CBR, and GRI. and is on the faculty of the Massachusetts REALTOR® Institute and is an instructor and coach for the New Agent Success Plan training.


Nancy Kalodner, ABR, CRS, GRI, CBR, ITI

nkalodnerNancy Kalodner, Broker-Owner of Benchmark Real Estate since 1980, is a nationally regarded Professional Standards Instructor and Motivational Speaker. She has served in critical positions on the National Association of REALTORS® Professional Standards Committee since 1990 and served as their chair in 1997 and 1999. Nancy chaired the National Professional Standards Education Subcommittee in 1995 and the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® Professional Standards Committee for over 8 years. She is certified Mediator, ITI Certified Instructor and was honored as both the Berkshire and Massachusetts State REALTOR® of the Year and also Educator of the Year.


Anita Hill, CRB, CBR, ASR, CAI, QSC, ITI, LMC, SRES

Anita Hill is the owner of Anita Hill Training & Seminars and has spent over 35 years establishing her credentials in the field of real estate with an emphasis on training and education. She creates and presents educational programs that are current, relevant, and innovative to a variety of organizations and companies throughout New England.

Anita is an Instructor for the Certified Buyer Representative (CBR) and the Accredited Seller Representative (ASR) course, a GRI instructor for New Hampshire Association of Anita HillRealtors and teaches their new agent training program entitled “Real Estate Professional Series”, an instructor for the Real Estate Brokerage Professional Ethics course for the Vermont Association of Realtors and the Massachusetts Association of Realtors. She is an instructor for the “Realty Guild”, a group of independent offices in Massachusetts.

Anita is a member of the Real Estate Educators Association, as well as a past member of the GMAC National Training Advisory Board. She has served as an advisor and chairperson for the Continuing Education Development and Review committee of the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers & Salespersons. For over 20 years, Anita has participated in writing test questions for the Massachusetts real estate exam and on several occasions participated in writing test questions for the National Real Estate Exam.

As the former director of professional development for Carlson GMAC real estate, she developed training programs for new and experienced agents and managers. She is the author of seventh and eighth edition of “Massachusetts Real Estate Practice and Law” published by Dearborn Real Estate Education.

Anita has been named Educator of the Year by the Realty Guild, the Cape & Islands Association of Realtors, and the Northeast Association of Realtors.

Lesley Lambert is entering her 25th year as a Massachusetts REALTOR and real estate educator.  She was named to the Women of F.I.R.E in 2013 by Banker and Tradesmen and was one of Western Massachusetts Women to Watch in 2012.  Lesley is certified by the National Association of REALTORS to train the Realtor’s Property Resource software and the e-Pro designation.  A self proclaimed “real estate geek girl”, Lesley loves sharing the great tools that REALTORS have at their fingertips.


Robert J. Nahigian, FRICS, SIOR, CRE, MCR

NahigianRobert J. Nahigian, SIOR, CRE has twenty-nine years of multi-disciplinary levels of real estate experience with twenty years exclusively in commercial and industrial. Mr. Nahigian has been a land developer, advisor and broker of approximately $530,000,000 with 16 million square feet of commercial/industrial real estate. In terms of all real estate involved, Mr. Nahigian has participated in a total of $4.0 billion with 20 million square feet. He is a Senior Lecturer at Boston University, MAR and a certified Massachusetts Real Estate Instructor. Rob has been a lecturer at Harvard, MIT, Northeastern, Rutgers, Lehigh and DePaul Universities. Mr. Nahigian has co-authored three real estate books and over 100 articles in professional publications. He was awarded CoreNet’s “2013 Top Rated Faculty;” the 2012/2004/2003/2002/1994 SIOR National Instructor of the Year and MAR 2011 Mass RE Educator of the Year.


Jody O’Brien, Carlson GMAC Real Estate

Jody is an educator dedicated to the delivery of the tools and systems that will provide real estate agents, managers and companies the Jody OBrien Bio Picmethods to cultivate the real estate career they desire. She is committed to providing the highly valued skills necessary to ensure their success as well as assisting them in providing a positive consumer experience. To this end, she places great value on the licensing, training and skill building activities that are necessary components of a successful real estate career. She is committed to professionalism in real estate through education.

Jody possesses a wealth of experience—both as a practitioner and an educator.

She was previously employed by Carlson, Hammond, Kinlin Grover GMAC Real Estate. Throughout the years she held the position of Senior Instructor, Manager of the education department, liaison to the Risk Management Department, MLS representative and Broker of Record. Her department, The Learning Center, was responsible for agent and managers on-going education and risk reduction and management.

Jody was the 2003 President of the Northeast Association of REALTORS® and a member of the Board of Directors for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® from 1998 – 2004.  Her service awards include Chairperson of the Year Award (twice), 1999 Distinguished Service Award, and 2003 Massachusetts Educator of the Year.

During her real estate career, she was a consistent multi-million dollar producer who accumulated substantial sales recognition awards including Multi-Million Dollar Club, Master Level Sales Associate and the recipient of the President’s Citation for excellence in customer service.

Jody is an instructor for most of the local Massachusetts association as well as Massachusetts Associations of REALTORS® and a GRI instructor in Massachusetts. She also conducts courses for many independent companies throughout New England as well as several Franchises. She has been a regularly featured presenter at events for both the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® and GMAC Real Estate—regional and national levels for both.  On the national level, she is a member of the Real Estate Educators Association (REEA).

 


Sue O’Brien, Berkshire County Board of REALTORS

Sue O'BrienSue O’Brien has been with the Board since 1998 in the dual role of Multiple Listing Service Coordinator and Executive Assistant. Sue is the first point of contact for all Multiple Listing Service inquiries and is responsible for the processing of contracts relative to maintaining the accuracy of the Multiple Listing Service database. She is actively involved in educating the membership on the system and handles training for the association in both large and small groups. Sue has also been certified as a Professional Standards Administrator and handles the processing of Ethics Complaints, the Arbitration of Business Disputes and Requests for Mediation.

Jamie Pollard, Sales Manager Academy Mortgage Corporation

Jamie Pollard has been a Loan Officer in Berkshire County for the past 13 years. He’s closed about 200 Million Dollars in residential loans and specializes in Federal Government Loans such as FHA, VA and USDA Mortgages. He is married, has two daughters and is the Chair of the School Committee at Saint Agnes Academy in Dalton, MA. Jamie works for one of the top privately held correspondent lenders in America, Academy Mortgage Corporation. Academy Mortgage is one of the top lenders in Western MA with three branches and Jamie’s team has finished in the top two as a purchase lender in Berkshire County out of the past three years. Academy funded about 5.5 Billion Dollars in mortgage loans nationally in 2014 and Jamie’s team closed approximately 23 Million and 140 units in Purchase production last year in Berkshire County.


Paula Savard, ABR, CRB, CRS, GRI, E-PRO

savardPaula Savard, ABR, CRB, CRS, GRI, E-PRO is known to many in the Berkshire County Board of REALTORS®, across the state of Massachusetts and nationwide as the instructor of choice for agency, professional standards and REALTOR® business issues. She serves on the National Association of REALTORS® and Massachusetts Board of Directors, has chaired the NAR Multiple Listing Policy and Professional Standards Committees, and served on various national committees, including Real Estate Finance, Legal Action, Membership Policy & Board Jurisdiction, Board of Choice, Strategic Planning and Dues Administration Committees and workgroups.

He and his firm specialize in Real Estate Law, Business and Corporate Law, Will, Estates and Trusts. Ashley Stolba, Associate Counsel at MAR

Ashley StolbaAshley Stolba is Associate Counsel at MAR. She has answered hundreds of questions on the Legal Hotline and works with members on a variety of risk reduction issues and programs affecting brokers and salespersons. She staffs various committees including Government Affairs, Professional Standards, and the Forms Committee, as well as the Local Government Affairs program at MAR. Ashley is a graduate of the University of Miami and Suffolk University Law School. Prior to joining MAR’s staff, she worked as a policy analyst and legal counsel in the Massachusetts House of Representatives.


Roger Turcotte, Roger Turcotte & Company, LLCrtourcotte

Roger Turcotte is a distinguished real estate instructor with expertise in association leadership skills and strategic planning. An author, REALTOR®, and much sought after national speaker, Roger Turcotte has been selected as Educator of the Year by the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS®.  Roger is the co-author of the very popular ten-course Leadership Training Series and Buyer Representation in Real Estate. His presentation skills have received the acclaim of the Real Estate Educators Association, which has awarded him the coveted designation of Distinguished Real Estate Instructor.


Peter West, SEC, CCIM, ABR, CRSPeter West

Peter West has been a Realtor since 1984, and is currently licensed in MA, NY, VT, and FL. Peter has been awarded the prestigious SEC designation from the Society of Exchange Counselors. He also has the CCIM, ABR, and CRS designations. No stranger to the business, Peter has worked in residential, commercial, appraisal, land, new home sales and as a mortgage originator. Currently he focuses on commercial/investment and development for his own behalf or for clients on a nationwide basis. Besides his real estate practice, he is the Vice President and partner of a modular building company, Modular Building Systems Inc. His approach with clients, whether real estate or construction, is based on a “counseling” model versus a sales approach. Peter is a former National Sales Trainer for Century 21 Real Estate Corp. Currently Peter trains real estate agents throughout all of North America. He is a frequent presenter of the National Association of Realtors buyer agency programs. In 2007, Peter was inducted into the Buyer Agent Hall of Fame. He is also a National Moderator for Commercial Equity marketing sessions. Peter is a popular and frequent presenter at state and national conventions. Locally Peter serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Adams, MA Zoning Board of Appeals. He is also a past two term Chairman of the Board of Directors for Berkshire Family and Individual Resources, an agency providing services for individuals with developmental disabilities. He currently resides in Adams, MA where he is raising his 10 year old son Keaton.
