The National Association of REALTORS has mandated some online disclosure changes for REALTOR Associations that include displaying the cooperating buyer agents’ commission. In a desire to be transparent and reflective of consumer protection, the MLS Board voted to include the list agent and brokerage name and the buyer’s agent commission fields on public listing sheets. Beginning July 1st, when printing public listing sheets, you will now see a disclosure at the bottom of the sheet that says, Provided Courtesy of Jane Doe, ABC Realty.
Your name, logo/photo and contact information will continue to appear in bolder print on the sheets as always. The list agent and brokerage information will not contain any contact numbers, email or addresses.
