It’s baaack, Battle of the Bartenders, one of our most loved fun-d-raisers is coming back this year! We’re excited to host three events countywide in May, and we’re looking your help. We need volunteers to coordinate a fun and well attended event! Sign up below for a quick 1/2 hour zoom planning sessions on April 20th with the REALTOR Community Service Committee chair, Jessie Downer. Please register for one below if you’d like to participate!
There are limited spots for bartending teams but we need you! These teams are the heart of the fundraising that happens at “The Battle” as you are responsible to raise money for our charity during your shift. (each location will have a charitable cause that are active in the region of the event) You will collecting tips from patrons, so packing the bar with your family, friends and co-workers during your shift is a must!! NO EXPERIENCE necessary. Each facility will have a bartender on staff to assist with making beverages, and to ring up sales. We’re all about the tips! You can create your own team (2 bartenders + others welcome to work the crowd). Due to the limitations, we ask only 1 team per firm and you’re welcome to team up with those from other firms and especially affiliates to really broaden your fundraising base!
If you want to bartend, please submit your Team Name, 2 Team Bartenders, names of any other team members and location you’d prefer to bartend. Send to Jessie Downer to secure your team space! The RCS committee is in the process of voting on the charities for each event – if you attend the planning meeting you can vote too! Look at our fantastic Hosts!

- Thursday, MAY 18th – Fiddleheads Bar & Grille, 999 Main Street, Great Barrington
- Wednesday, MAY 24th – Proprietor’s Lodge, 22 Waubeek Rd, Pittsfield
In the past, teams have had ‘hawkers’ working the crowd with fun, small give-a-ways (think fun necklaces, noise makers, etc.) collecting even more money. The winning team gets the honor of having their team recognized in our Friday REcap – and a fun CHAMPION prize! This is a fun night for all, a real win-win for our charities and our local restaurant hosts. We can’t wait, how ’bout you??
