Yes, Your Offer was Presented… and here is the confirmation

Listing brokers must respond to all offers, thank you!  Just a reminder that if a seller is unwilling to sign receipt of the P&S, (the new section at the end of the form), please understand that is within their rights… BUT, the listing REALTOR is then required to confirm IN WRITING that the offer was presented for any buyer / buyer’s agent requesting it. Not only is it an ethical obligation, it’s just decent business practice and respectful to anxious buyers and their agents.  In these multiple offer markets, please be prepared to offer a written affirmation that you presented the offer the seller if requested, or that the seller waived your obligation to present the offer. failure to do so is a violation of the Code of Ethics, Article 1 SOP 1-7.

Standard of Practice 1-7 … “Upon the written request of a cooperating broker who submits an offer to the listing broker, the listing broker shall provide, as soon as practical, a written affirmation to the cooperating broker stating that the offer has been submitted to the seller/landlord, or a written notification that the seller/ landlord has waived the obligation to have the offer presented.
