Thanksgiving Baking Angels

Got Bread? The Thanksgiving Baking Angels (Coalition of Churches) sure can use some ! This year, 1500+ families will receive support through the Thanksgiving Angels in the form of a complete turkey dinner for the holiday. We’re putting out the call…please join in baking sweet breads to be provided to low-income families during the Thanksgiving Turkey Angels food distribution organized by local congregations. You can bake (or buy) any breads you would like: banana, zucchini, pumpkin, apple, cranberry orange, blueberry, lemon, etc.  Please be sure to label your bread and if it contains nuts.

Drop off is Sunday, November 22 between noon and 4 pm at South Congregational Church, 110 South Street, Pittsfield.

Organizer, Lisa Fletcher-Udel, is asking that you post how many breads you’ll bake on the Thanksgiving Baking Angels Facebook Event Page , (you don’t have to be a Facebook user to go to their page) so they have an idea of what to expect.  As they say, ‘many hands makes light work’!

If your prefer, those wishing to donate toward the cost of the turkeys can mail a check to Thanksgiving Angels c/o South Congregational Church, 110 South St. Pittsfield, MA 01201.

Thank you!!
