With General Preferences in Flexmls, you can make a few small changes that can speed up your day-to-day workflow.  In the quieter months, now is the time to create those shortcuts to help when the market starts to take off in the spring and you need to save every minute you can.

Here are some of the things you can simply customize:

• Comparable search filters – Set your go-to criteria (radius, price, beds, baths, etc.) so you can run comps from Quick Launch faster and easier.
• Your default listing report and font size– See search results exactly how you want them, every time you log in.
• Email defaults – Set your business card signature, preferred email format (HTML or plain text), and default attachments so you’re not adjusting them with every send.
• Expiring listing notifications – Get ahead of renewals with automatic email alerts before a listing expires.
• Daily hot sheet email – Get a morning link to the latest activity, delivered right to your inbox.

To get started, go to Menu > Preferences > General Preferences. Make your customizations, and click Save when you’re done.
