Scam Alert – Text Request for Zoom

Scam alert – Agents throughout the US (including Berkshire County) are receiving suspicious texts from an inquiring buyer asking to have a zoom call (example below for a text from out of our region… local agents have also reported these texts and zooms).

The problem? The zoom links are bogus, and once clicked, malware is downloaded onto the devise where the link was clicked.

We wanted to bring this to your attention so you all are aware and DO NOT click links without knowing what they are, having trust in the sender and expecting it.

If you were a victim of this scam, we suggest you get IT support to assist to make sure the malware is removed from your devise.

Stay safe out there!
