As you know, all professional standard ethics and arbitration hearings are now handled by the state association legal team, but the hearing panels are still comprised of all local volunteers. You’re invited to serve! MAR’s 2026 Professional Standards Training will be led by Teresa Tilton, and emphasizes the responsibilities of elected Officers and Directors and the members of the Grievance and Professional Standards Committees.
As a reminder, Professional Standards Training is required for members of MAR’s Professional Standards and Grievance Committees. You may complete this training through MAR or another program offered through a local association.
This full day training will cover the role of Grievance and Professional Standards Committees and familiarize volunteers with the obligations and rights of complainants and respondents in professional standards matters.
Please note that this course does not provide CE credits.
