Nominate an outstanding REALTOR member for the REALTOR of the YEAR Award!

Berkshire candidate nominations must be received by June 15, 2016!

Eligibility Criteria for the REALTOR of the YEAR Award:

Please nominate an outstanding REALTOR member who has made the greatest contribution to the advancement of the real estate profession and the community at large from January 1 of the previous year to the present time (the last 18 months).

Once our local association candidate is chosen, they will be automatically in the running for Massachusetts REALTOR®  of the Year.  MAR will appoint their own selection committee to review the submissions from each board across the state.  The winner will be announced at the State Convention in October.

The Massachusetts REALTOR® of the Year is selected annually from among the nominees of the 14 local associations of REALTORS® and nearly 19,000 REALTORS® in Massachusetts.  It is the association’s highest honor and recognizes members for their civic, business and industry-related activities and achievements in the 12 months prior to award’s presentation.

The award criteria upon which nominees are judged include service to the local community, business accomplishments, and service to the REALTOR® organization on the local, state and national levels.  The state REALTOR® of the Year is chosen by a selection committee which consists of the past three recipients of the award, the association’s immediate past president (who shall serve as chairperson), and the immediate past president once removed.
