Job Posting plus Website Info Below in PDF format (3 pages)

Who we are:

We provide foundational services for the real estate industry. We work to serve the needs of our members – Realtors, lenders, appraisers, lawyers –  so they may can create successful transactions and satisfied clients. We do not sell real estate but help those that do!

What we actually do:

Collectively, we manage the database of real estate listings, provide market statistics, and answer questions all day. We offer the education and information our members need to be great at their job.  We provide the local real estate contracts and support software platforms that allow digital signatures.  We manage the real estate database (MLS) to ensure accuracy, assist members in submitting property data correctly and manage where, when and how the data leaves our servers. We troubleshoot tech issues, help find information and hold members accountable to the rules.

But despite that list, it’s really a people business – we work for our members to address their needs of the day. We also manage an engaged group of volunteers that serve on committees to help our community, host fun events and help our industry thrive. A small staff, a lot of volunteers and many members to serve.

What we hope to find:

  • We work really hard, but also make sure to enjoy our day and the people that cross our paths.  Skills matter but so does attitude.
  • Can you communicate clearly in both email and in person? By nature, we convey information, teach and guide throughout the day when working with our members. Being able to share effectively is important in creating a productive office and satisfied customer experience.
  • Are you good with technology, even if you find the pace of change a little overwhelming lately?  We are seeking someone with solid basics and an interest and aptitude to learn new things.
  • Basic must-have skills –  comfort in the Microsoft Office family –  word, excel, outlook, teams, onedrive, sharepoint; an understanding about the internet, browsers and how to organize online files and bookmarks to work effectively in an online environment. You have to have this solid foundation of knowledge going in because there are many other things to learn.
  • Other software that’s a plus (and yes, AI counts) CRM software, Canva / Photoshop, social media from a business side, and bookkeeping basics is helpful. If you can run zooms, reset a router and the network password, get a copier unjammed, swoon. We use the following and don’t expect you to know them, but in case you do: Growthzone, FlexMLS, Quickbooks, Mailchimp, Google Docs / Sheets, WordPress, to name a few.
  • Like learning? We plan to train, since most of our in-house software and systems take time to master.  We value your experience learning, growing and understanding new tech in your past positions.

What you can expect:

  • Onboarding can be a combination of remote and in-office time spent learning about the organization and specific tasks, taking online training and shadowing staff to learn based on actual calls and emails.
  • PTO accrual begins right away, and can be taken after trial period. Starting at 1 week for 2026, increasing to 2 weeks paid, accruing in 2027.
  • SIMPLE IRA participation option with company match, after eligibility period
  • Mileage reimbursement for approved travel
  • $22-25 per hour, depending on experience.

A few things to know about this job posting:

  • Using AI is great, but your submission should sound and represent you as a candidate. Your voice matters.  Don’t catfish with Claude.
  • We will honor your time by confirming that we’ve received your submission, and if it resonates with our needs we will reach out again for Step 2. If you interview with us (zoom then live), we will respond when the position is filled if you’re not the lucky duck selected. It’s just common courtesy.

The actual job posting:

Part-Time Office Administrator

We are a small team supporting a large and active professional membership. We’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, likes solving problems, and can keep a lot of moving pieces organized without losing their sense of humor.

One minute you might be helping someone troubleshoot a tech issue, the next you’re assisting with an event, updating a database, answering questions, preparing for a meeting, using AI to help with minutes, or helping a member find the information they need to get through their day. No two days are exactly alike.

The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, professional, and comfortable learning new technology. You don’t need to know every software platform we use (you won’t, trust me), but you should have a solid foundation in Microsoft Office, the internet and maintaining an online file system. Must enjoy learning and be willing to tackle new challenges as they arise in a business that is always changing.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude. Skills can be taught, but curiosity, reliability, kindness, and initiative are especially valued. We work hard, but we also enjoy our day, support one another, and genuinely like and laugh with the people we work with.

Responsibilities may include:

    • Member and customer communication
    • Scheduling and calendar coordination
    • Billing and database management
    • Event and meeting support
    • Document preparation and organization
    • CRM and office software management
    • General office operations and problem-solving
    • Learning new systems and helping others navigate them

The ideal candidate:

    • Learns new technology quickly
    • Communicates clearly in writing and in person
    • Is comfortable juggling multiple priorities
    • Enjoys helping people, takes initiative
    • Pays attention to details without losing sight of the bigger picture
    • Can work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
    • Is trustworthy and dependable.
