January Continuing Education

Join us at the Board Office as we kick off the year with two continuing education classes on January 23rd.  Instructor, Peter West, will be on hand for both.  As a reminder, ALL REALTORS must complete the Professional Standards Code of Ethics training again by December 31, 2018.  We’ll hold that particular class on several occasions, but don’t wait, or miss your opportunity to take live training on this very important subject.

January 23rd, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.:   RE32RC03:  Technology and Real Estate Brokerage
You’ll learn all about risk reduction, electronic portfolio management, compliance with marketing regulations and so, so much more.

January 23rd, 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.:   RE33RC11:  Real Estate Brokerage Professional Ethics for Residential and Commercial Real Estate Brokerage
This is a mandated course for all REALTORS and must be completed between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2018 to maintain membership in the National Association.  This class goes over the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice with some practical discussions and applications.  [Please note, this class is 2 1/2 hours long.]

Classes are FREE to Berkshire County Board of REALTOR members, $30 per class for all others.  If you register and are unable to attend, please contact staff at least 2-business days in advance of the program so we may open your seat to anyone on a wait list.  No shows or cancellations received after that date will result in a $30 charge (we have to pay food and facility costs and turn people away from the classes). Thank you!
