Making your life easier: The MLS Board considered a member’s input about the “directions” field in the MLS.  Currently this field is mandatory, but they recognized that all of your effort spent typing driving directions can be wasted time when the mobile app simply uses internal GPS mapping to create the best routes for everyone’s starting point. Therefore, the board voted to keep the field in the system so you can offer helpful property location details, but are removing the mandatory requirement for data entry. Do check that the property maps correctly using any traditional GPS system to make sure it’s easily found, but otherwise, from now on, helpful directions examples: go in second driveway and park by the garage, GPS misdirects you to the back of the property, so use this address instead etc… expect the change by June 2026.
