August 16: Fair Housing: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. This is the 50th anniversary of the enactment of Fair Housing laws. Come and join our instructor, Peter West, as he enlightens us on: The History of Fair Housing, MA General Laws, Prohibited Discriminatory Practices, Advertising & Marketing, and more!
September 18: Real Estate Brokerage Code of Ethics: 9:30 a.m. – Noon – Sue O’Brien will review the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS, the Professional Standards process and review case study. In addition to CE credit this class satisfies the mandatory REALTOR Code training.
September 21: Investment Real Estate Cash Flow Analysis: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – In this class, Rob Nahigian will discuss cash flow and the cash flow worksheet; non-operating expenses; estimating taxable income and more.
September 21: Advanced Industrial Real Estate: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Rob Nahigian, will instruct us on the economics of a manufacturer; the logistics and supply chain process; industrial site selection brokerage issues and cost comparisons.
October 18: Selling the Sun – Solar PV: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Please join us as Craig Foley instructs us on the rapidly emerging residential solar PV market, a breakdown of how the technology works, and resources you need to value solar PV and explain the value to your sellers and buyers.
October 18: Zoning & Building Codes: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Craig Foley will be on hand to instruct us on Zoning Bylaws, enforcement and limitations.
